The news here.
One of my friend said 2 interesting things about this deal :
- it’s proof OTT Mediaroom was near nothing
- but technology under Azuki is not pink (sic)
For me, I just say that it proof that Ericsson has finish to understand strength and weakness of it’s Microsoft deal (I predict not « pink » days) and start to awake. Too late ?
It could be interesting to see the next step in order to invest time or not in this ecosystem.
BTW, we can identify : Ben Huang
Ben Huang, head of global marketing for Ericsson’s new Mediaroom unit, told Light Reading that Azuki’s technologies will be incorporated into Mediaroom’s offerings. He said the Azuki systems will enable Mediaroom to deliver video streaming of over-the-top (OTT) content, as well as out-of-home streaming, to its customers.
